Conflagration by thunderbolt
Brugg, 28thof june (telegraphic message(During a violent thunderstorm lightning struck briefly after 5 o'clock this morning into the three-part farmhouse belonging the Burger brothers and sisters, Jakob Humbel and the Lüthard family in Scherz. In a few moments the straw roof went up in flames. Part of the furniture as well as the livestock could be saved. Three families became homeless because of this fire. - Once before, exactly sixty years ago, on the 28thof june, 1864, the home of the Lüthard family became a victim of a blaze.
